AMIGOS DE JAIME EN ACCIÓN INSTITUCIÓN DE BENEFICIENCIA PRIVADA ASSOCIATION, commonly known as AJA( hereinafter the RESPONSIBLE),  with its address for all matters related to this document located at Callejón Paraíso #33, between 20 de Noviembre and Lafragua, Ignacio Zaragoza, Veracruz, Veracruz, C.P. 91910, and website aja.org.mx, in accordance with Article 16, Paragraph II of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States and Article 15 of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its regulations, informs you of the following.

Through this PRIVACY NOTICE,  you are informed that personal data and sensitive personal data will be collected from you (hereinafter the DATA SUBJECT), as well as the purposes for which the RESPONSIBLE and/or the DATA PROCESSOR (the individual who processes the data on behalf of the RESPONSIBLE) will handle this data.

PERSONAL DATA. By providing your personal and sensitive personal data to the RESPONSIBLE, you expressly consent to its processing directly or indirectly by the RESPONSIBLE, with whom you have a legal or commercial relationship, as well as with competent authorities. The PERSONAL DATA and SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA collected directly from the DATA SUBJECT will include:

  • Full Name

  • Nationality

  • Unique Population Registration Code (CURP)

  • Federal Taxpayers Registry (RFC)

  • Residential and/or Fiscal Address

  • Phone Numbers

  • Email Address

  • Academic Data

  • Ideological and/or Religious Data

  • Medical History

  • Lifestyle and/or Sexual Habits

  • Personal, Physical, and Mental Characteristics
  • Banking Information
  • Financial Data
  • Credit History
  • Data about relationships with other institutions with similar purposes to ours
  • Any other data related to the person

The RESPONSIBLE will process your personal data in accordance with the principles of legality, consent, information, quality, loyalty, proportionality, and responsibility as set forth by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

PORPOSES OF PROCESSING.The personal data and sensitive personal data provided by the DATA SUBJECT will be used by the RESPONSIBLE for:

  • Full identification as a donor, supplier, or beneficiary, as well as to locate and contact you Issuing the corresponding tax receipt
  • Recording and tracking your contribution
  • Registering you in the donor database and using your data for services aimed at public benefit and/or the association’s objectives
  • Sending you publicity and/or newsletters related to the RESPONSIBLE’s activities
  • Registering you in the files for admission and placement in the facilities
  • Providing the services offered by the RESPONSIBLE
  • Addressing any contingencies and/or situations where the RESPONSIBLE needs to use your data
  • Requesting quotes for goods and/or services needed by the RESPONSIBLE
  • Ordering merchandise, services, and/or products for the RESPONSIBLE’s operation
  • Executing contracts, agreements, and/or arrangements for service provision and/or goods supply
  • Sending information and documentation related to your relationship with the RESPONSIBLE
  • Sending, receiving, and clarifying invoices, statements, and reports related to the goods and services provided by the DATA SUBJECT
  • Making payments related to the commercial relationship, positioning you as a supplier
  • Subscribing to or issuing credit titles necessary for the payment of goods, services, and/or products
  • Conducting surveys for quality, statistical, and/or internal analysis purposes
  • Inviting you to all types of events, shows, and/or activities organized by the RESPONSIBLE
  • In general, for any purpose required by the relationship with the RESPONSIBLE

OPTIONA AND MEANS TO LIMIT USE OR DISCLOSURE. The DATA SUBJECT’s personal and sensitive personal data will be stored in our database (electronic and/or physical files), which is protected by effective and sufficient security measures, locks, and controls to prevent unauthorized access, damage, loss, alterations, destruction, or misuse of your personal and/or sensitive personal data. This data is used by the RESPONSIBLE for protecting your own information.

ARCO RIGHTS. The DATA SUBJECT can exercise their rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition, or revoke consent for the processing of their personal and sensitive personal data at any time. This can be done through a letter duly signed by the DATA SUBJECT addressed to C. María Doris Gasperín Bulbarela, President of the Board of Directors, located at the address provided at the beginning of this document, or by contacting us at (229) 9315200 or via email at contacto@aja.org.mx.

The DATA SUBJECT must clearly and concisely describe the PERSONAL DATA and SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA regarding which they seek to exercise any of the aforementioned rights. In the case of rectification, the modifications to be made must be indicated.

Exercising the aforementioned rights must comply with the applicable laws and regulations in Mexico.

DATA TRANSFER .  Your personal and sensitive personal data may be transferred and processed within and outside the country by parties other than the RESPONSIBLE and/or the DATA PROCESSOR. In this regard, your information may be shared with other institutions with similar purposes to ours, medical institutions, and/or Government Agencies for the execution of acts for public benefit and/or the association, as well as with competent authorities in the exercise of their functions.

USE OF COOKIES (WEB)  To enhance user experience on the website, the RESPONSIBLE may use “cookies.” For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “cookies” are text files transferred to users’ hard drives to store certain records and preferences. The RESPONSIBLE may use cookies to better understand user interaction with the site and the services provided. Cookies do not personally identify users, only their computers. Users can change their options on their computers and/or browsers to stop accepting cookies or to confirm whether they accept them.

MODIFICATION TO THE PRIVACY NOTICE.  Any modifications to this Privacy Notice will be communicated through the same channel through which this notice is presented and/or to the email address provided for this purpose or through our website.
